How Does The Easy Foam Ultra Cleaning Agent Work?

Easy Foam Ultra is a high quality cleaning agent that is designed to clean in industrial areas.  It is formulated to withstand high temperatures and not degrade when applied to hot coolers; up to 200° F.  The foaming process allows our environmentally friendly agents to cover the dirty fins of the cooler.  As our foaming agent spreads and penetrates, it completely covers all of the surfaces of the cooler bank, which allows dirt and debris that has bonded to your equipment, to loosen and come apart from surfaces.  This lets the contaminants to flow out freely during the rinse.  Without using a high quality foam as a delivery method, most of the other types of expensive cleaning agents that are used, will end up flowing directly through the cooler,  onto the ground, where it does nothing but waste money.

The three things you need to have on-site is water, air, and transport.

Water:  Fire hydrant quality or a 1-1/2" waterline source.  This type is most effective for low pressure, high volume rinsing.

Air:  Most plant air is okay.  100 PSI is preferable with a 1/2" hose connection.

Transport:  This varies depending upon what system you will need for your plants use.  Speak with your Easy Foam representative for details.

This can vary a bit, depending on your specific site description and compliances.  For a basic set-up, it usually takes about 30-minutes.

This depends on a number of factors, including the size of the cooler, size of the crew cleaning, availability of water and air, etc.  However, an average cooler that has a measurable footprint of 285 square feet, should average about 45-minutes; but should not take more than 1-hour.  As your crews become more familiar with the cleaning process, the work performance will improve.

Normally, two personnel will do the trick, but this really depends on the size of the project and how quickly you want to accomplish the task.  One person can handle the foaming process and cleaning, with one person with them for safety purposes.  If you have a large amount of coolers and want to assign a larger number of personnel, speak with your Easy Foam representative about system options and availability.

When the fin fan coolers of your heat exchangers are cleaned properly, they can perform at their optimum rate, barring mechanical issues.  Most times, the fans power can either be reduced or possibly turned off.  Calculations on energy savings ca be extremely accurate.  Just ask one of our representatives to figure out your return on investment.  But remember, your real returns come from your increased production capacity.

Easy Foam uses environmentally friendly cleaning formulas that are PH balanced for safety.  We use low pressure, high volume cleaning methods that will not damage your delicate fins, while removing debris, dirt, and materials from within your cooler pack.  Using low pressure cleaning methods reduces overspray and is safer for personnel and equipment.  We supply next-generation equipment, high quality training, and extremely safe high quality product, and a dedicated support staff to help you complete all of your maintenance cleaning issues.

For normal cooler cleaning, the answer is NO.  We will train your outside crews, on-site contractors, or plant personnel to do the cleaning.  Once they are fully comfortable using our systems and products, we will let them take it form there.  However, if you have a heavy build-up of scale from water usage, you will need to have one of our authorized applicators apply and clean your cooler to remove the scale; the first time.  Once this is done, you should not have to do it again, as long as you keep up your proper preventative maintenance cleaning procedures and do not continue to throw water on them for cooling purposes.
